Bandcamp si,Bandcamp no.

La questione Bandcamp sta animando la rete e il grande Eldino, uno dei guru del net-audio in Italia e nel mondo, nonchè uno dei primi a divulgare informazioni su netlabels, free-release e simili ha aperto una discussione molto interessante sul trattamento che Bandcamp ha riservato nei confronti degli artisti e delle netlabels che ospitano la loro musica e la loro home page sul proprio sito. Vi sembra giusto pagare per offrire la propria musica gratuitamente? (questo avverrebbe dopo aver superato i 300 free-download) E' fantascienza? Eldino è per il boicottamento, io più per l'informazione. Esistono altri luoghi dove depositare le proprie release, primo fra tutti Internet Archive (dove ogni giorno si possono trovare decine di novità musicali,tutte in download gratuito). Speculare sugli artisti e sulle netlabels che decidono di offrire la propria musica gratuitamente non è sicuramente un bel gesto. Ad ognuno la sua scelta.
