Entertainment for the Braindead - "Postcard #3: Cologne, Songs for the Breathless" (self released)

"Cologne. A room. Over time I collected quite a bunch of instruments. There are strings to be plucked and wooden sticks to blow air into, things to be hit and things to be shaken, millions of ways to set some kind of material into motion, to make another resonate with sound. If people ask me which was the first one I picked up, I tell them it was the recorder. But actually, if I want to be precise, there was another one before. In fact, the first cords I ever made vibrate were right in my throat, the first body I made resonate my own. Before I could even think of ways to hold or play another instrument, I had already discovered I was equipped with one: a voice. It still took a long time to get to know it and befriend with it. You have to go through the unsettling, dissociating experience of hearing your recorded voice for the first time, and believe me, you won‘t like it. You have to face its flaws and maybe learn to use turn them into benefits. Finally, at a time when my guitar would feel wrong in my hands and the strings of my banjo were only alienating, I sat down in a corner of my bed, stripped of all musical protheses, and decided to finally attempt to make as much use of my one very own instrument as possible. This is the result of that experiment. Cologne 2010 - Berlin 2012" (E.F.T.B.)

Sergi Boal - "Silenci" (self released)

"EL SILENCI ÉS L'ORIGEN
L'ABSÈNCIA DE SONS
EL SILENCI ÉS LA UTOPIA
QUE EL SOROLL NO ENS IMPEDEIXI ESCOLTAR EL SILENCI"

Sergi Boal sa trasmettere calore e poesia, intimità e naturalezza.

Various Artists - "totokoko christmas compilation 3" (totokoko 032)

05. asa - HO
06. AMERICAN GREEN - The Aurora Of Yellowknife That He Saw
07. michikusa - anemone
08. masato abe - After noel
09. mitsuyoshi matsuda - ding dong

13. Makoto Tanaka - W.N
14. sonicbrat - invisible snow
15. zmi - tom-tom
16. conte -

Mi fa piacere incontrare nuovamente he died while hunting, recensiti circa un'anno fa su queste pagine con l'ottimo "We used to dream awake".

Fiona Soe Paing - "Tower of Babel EP" (Black Lantern Music 068)

"Based in Aberdeenshire, Fiona Soe Paing has been evolving her unique brand of experimental, vocal-led electronica since 2007. One of her first home demos, sung in fledgling phrasebook Burmese, was discovered on Myspace by the legendary BBC DJ Charlie Gillett, who included it on one of his 'Sound of the World' compilations, released internationally on Warner Music, alongside artists including Gotan Project and Devendra Banhart. THE TOWER OF BABEL EP is accompanied by a limited edition DVD of music videos by New Zealand animation artist Zennor Alexander. Their previous collaborations have been screened on The Arts Channel on Sky TV New Zealand, as well as at film festivals including Digital Fringe Melbourne and NEON digital arts festival Dundee. Fiona has performed the 'live cinema'-style set with the projected animations at venues including Auckland Art Gallery, Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art and with the National Theatre of Scotland. “...stylish, elegant and sinister...obscure electronica, minimal beats and exotic voice merge seamlessly with animated visuals to evolve into a multi-media artwork." (New Zealand Herald)In early 2012, Fiona was granted funding through Creative Scotland to make new work, and two of the new tracks are included on the TOWER OF BABEL EP." (Black Lantern Music)
