Muhr - "lucas arc" (Laverna 057)

"An arch, a curve, a passage that allows senses to run through that thin, invisible line beyond which the impulses issued by the receptors communicate a dimension that brushes against wholeness. There is a variety of ways to represent these feelings: images and sounds are the elements chosen by Muhr to try to define these experiences. A careful research gives us a series of beats, never predictable, a resemblance of primitive and dissonant beats that immediately moulds within a melody assembly that slowly weaves-in and begins to radiate precious imaginative essence. Four short episodes, filled with languid romantic numbness, climaxing in the last track that literally explodes in a silent sensual rapture, thanks also to its associated video-clip. Muhr, alias Vincent Fugère, is the hidden Master of Ceremony. His proceeding resolves through the snapshot of a shutter, the silent pathway of a video-clip and the slow pervading liturgy of the sound. Lucas Arc is all this: is a sinuous body to be slowly revealed with the help of that nowadays too often neglected “Love”. (Words from Laverna Archive.org page)

"After more than two years of writing, recording, mixing, and some delays, ‘La Voz Quebrada‘, the new album by Claro de Luna, is finally released on September 23 of 2013. Going from post rock with progressive rock influences, ‘La Voz Quebrada’ is an instrumental album, containing 7 tracks. Its concept is about the gaps in communication, and the problems that could create." (Words from release page)

The Fucked Up Beat - "The Situationists" (Phonocake)

"Welcome to the Encyclopedia of timeless moods of countervision, hiding in an abyss of mindless n happy consumerism. This is music by and for criticizing poets, slendering peacefully and angry through the streets of hypercapitalist cities, today and through history, playing their beats and trumpets with attitude, recognizing the moods and notes, that inspire their next tracks. They call this music Experimental Schizo Noir Trip Hop and this is what we get. Phonocake is glad to finally bring a full length album by «The Fucked Up Beat», a duo consisting of Brett Zehner (Beats/Words) and Eddie Palmer (Sounds/Instruments), who create their tunes remotely in an collaborative way, bridging time and space. The album was originally intended to be published on the netlabel «No Echo», but due to the passing by of it's active head the label is history." (Words from release page)

Ambienti poco luminosi immersi in nebbioline artificiali.

Wolf Choir - "Mountains and Other Nice Things" (self released)

"Wolf Choir are a young band from Guildford made up of Aram Bahmaie, James Humphrys and Tom Hill. Walls of Fuzz, swells of reverb and funk inflected grooves are what is to be found on their debut EP 'Mountains and Others Nice Things'. More exciting stuff to come so watch this space." (Words from Bandcamp page)
