OHO - "9th Pawn" (self released)

"We met in India in Fall 2010 [Aurore/singer and Paul/instruments], and recorded our first song, Free Electron, in a tiny Indian recording studio. When we came back in different cities of Europe, we kept writing songs and shared them by email, so we decided to start a recording project ourselves. Aurore wrote the lyrics and melody of most songs a-capella while she was in India. Then Paul added to this voice all sorts of instruments (guitar, organ, bass, trumpet, percussions, xylophone...), to built grooves and atmospheres that this voice brings to his mind. This creation process also works the other way around! Paul's instruments are a source of inspiration for Aurore, who likes to layer lyrics and melodies as we play the songs...In summer 2011, we recorded and produced our first EP « Land of the Happy » in Paul's home-studio in Paris." (Words from OHO's biography on Facebook page)

"Someday, you say, I'll be my own example"...così termina la stupenda title-track del secondo album firmato OHO, duo composto dal poli-strumentista Paul e dalla vocalist Aurore. Sei tracce morbide e curate minuziosamente in ogni singolo aspetto. "Get ready with the prize. Now it won't take too long".
